Drying
The brackets epoxied on top. I usually stick a bit of masking tape over the top to hold the bracket on. The contact areas on the back of the bracket and the Tortoise housing were scuffed with sandpaper - the first one I made came off really easily, but since adding the scuffing step that hasn't happened.
